Introduction
Welcome to BSM TechSoft! Protecting your private information is our priority. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you engage with our application through Google OAuth authentication.
Information We Collect
Automatic Information: We gather server and HTTP logs, data transmitted by Google’s APIs, and usage details such as how and when you use our application.
Persistent Identifiers: We store identifiers like your Google ID to facilitate account management and service personalization.
User-Provided Information: Any additional information you provide directly within the app or through permissions APIs, such as preferences or content you create.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve our services.
- Recognize you on return visits and personalize your experience.
- Communicate with you, including sending updates or promotional offers, if opted-in.
- Ensure the security of our application, investigate fraudulent activities, and enforce our terms and conditions.
Sharing of Your Information
We may share your information:
- With third-party service providers to manage our operations (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics).
- With other users, if you interact with social features of the application.
- With marketing partners, if explicitly agreed to by you.
- Under legal obligations, when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information you provide from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information managed by our application. You can exercise these rights through the application settings or by contacting us at the provided contact information.
Data Retention
We retain your information only for as long as necessary to provide you with our services and as required by applicable laws.
Google User Data
Scope Requested
Our application requests access only to the following Google OAuth scope:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events.owned
– Create, read, update, and delete calendar events that our application owns on your behalf.
We do not request any other Google scopes or access to Gmail, Contacts, Drive, or other Google services.
Purpose of Access
This permission allows our app to create and manage appointments you schedule through our service on your Google Calendar.
- We only interact with events that were created by our application.
- We never read or modify events that you or other apps create outside of our service.
Data We Access and Store
When you grant this permission, our application may:
- Read event details (title, date, time, location, attendees) for events created by our app.
- Create, update, or delete those events on your Google Calendar.
- Store the following minimal data to maintain your appointments:
- Google Calendar event IDs for events created by our app.
- OAuth tokens required to perform these actions.
We do not store your Google password or any data from calendars or events that we did not create.
Data Retention and Deletion
- We retain Google-derived data only as long as needed to provide our scheduling service or until you delete your account.
- You can revoke our access at any time by visiting Google Account Permissions.
- You may also request deletion of all associated data by contacting our support team or using the in-app delete-account option.
- Once access is revoked or your account is deleted, all stored Google event IDs and OAuth tokens are permanently removed from our systems.
Security
- All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and stored encrypted at rest.
- Access to Google-derived data is restricted to authorized personnel and audited regularly.
- We follow the principle of least privilege and use only the minimum OAuth scope necessary.
